Service Manager – Port Arthur, TX Location

The Service Manager is responsible for the overall operation of a designated service facility within our organization specializing in the repair and service of fire apparatus equipment, troubleshooting and analysis of apparatus failure, and keeping apparatus and equipment in a high level of service and safety. Responsibilities to include but not limited to, customer service, financial management and employee management & development.   

Job Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED – 2 plus years of experience in an Auto/Heavy Truck repair management position.

Clean driving record with or able to obtain a Class B non-exempt CDL driver license

Knowledge of repair principles and procedures in all areas of the Heavy Truck Repair Industry.

EVT (Emergency Vehicle Technician) and ASE Heavy Truck Certifications are a plus.

Abilities and Skills:

Must be dependable

Excellent customer service skills, both verbal and written

Must assume responsibility for high quality of repair processes

Must possess excellent leadership skills and promote a team atmosphere within the workplace.

Must be able to maintain profitability levels set forth by management including inventory control and expense control.    

Must have excellent computer skills. Microsoft Office, Microsoft Outlook Mail. Experience with RO Writer service software a plus.

Field Service Technician - Corpus Christi TX and New Orleans, LA areas.

 

Emergency Fire Apparatus Dealership/Service Center is seeking an experienced field service technician to join our team in our location.

Job Description:

The Field Service Technician is responsible for the service and repair all fire apparatus equipment, troubleshooting and analysis of apparatus failure, and keeping apparatus and equipment in a high level of service and safety. These repairs will be performed on the road at customer’s locations.

Job Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED

Clean driving record with or able to obtain a Class B non-exempt CDL driver license

Knowledge of repair principles and procedures in all areas of the Heavy Truck Repair Industry.

EVT (Emergency Vehicle Technician) and ASE Heavy Truck Certifications are a plus.

Abilities and Skills:

Must be willing to travel within an assigned territory.

Must be dependable

Excellent customer service skills, both verbal and written

Must assume responsibility for high quality of repair processes
